Heureka Tapes

The first Momente Rekorder Kontakt Instrument contains 20 patches of organic lo-fi-ness and artifact-infused sounds. The source material is a melange of different layers of audio material recorded with various loopers and tape recorders. Heureka Tapes is a small fine collection of organic sounds for lo-fi electronica, ambient, experimental, soundscapes and contemporary electronic music in general. Together with the random filter settings and the top sounding delay and reverb it is quickly possible to reach deep ambient territories.

Most patches consist of one or more samples, which are created through a process of sampling with varying vintage samplers, synthesizers, effect devices and tape. Special emphasis is paid to organic behavior, random moments and details. When playing these patches, they unfold deliberate randomness and a certain life of their own. This is intentional.
